Taylor Swift Performed In The Rain Until 2 AM Following a 4-Hour Storm Delay

Taylor Swift refused to cancel her Sunday (May 7th) night concert in Nashville despite heavy rains and a four-hour lightning delay.

An attendee told Page Six that the crowd had to remain under covered areas of the outdoor stadium while they waited for the show to begin. The source said, “When we arrived, we were placed into forced shelter around 5:40 p.m. and had to remain there without movement until 9:30.”

Swift tweeted her appreciation to fans saying, “I know there’s talk of a rainy weather vibe tonight but I’m ready to play, see you soon!!”

Swift finally took the stage at around 10 p.m. and performed until around 2 a.m.

PopBuzz reports, “As a result of the delay, Taylor ended up playing half the show in torrential downpour, never missing a beat. She completed the entire setlist (complete with the two surprise songs!) and wrapped up the show around 1:40 AM – two hours and twenty minutes later than usual.”
