Humane Society of the United States Rescues More than 100 Dogs from Home in NC


On Tuesday, May 16th, the Humane Society of the United States rescued over 100 dogs from Herford County, North Carolina.

According to the Humane Society, “Over 100 dogs and puppies on the property were living in total filth, with little to no access to clean drinking water, and many had issues ranging from skin issues and hair loss to emaciation.”

WAVY TV-10 reports that the Humane Society of the United States worked with the Hertford County Sheriff’s Office and Orange County Animal Services of Chapel Hill to rescue more than 100 dogs and puppies from a “large-scale alleged cruelty situation at a breeder’s residential property.”
