Adorable Hound-Mix Pup in Need of a Loving Home

Shelter Pet Saturday brought to you by Dreamlawns

Two-Ton is up for adoption at Portsmouth Humane Society.

Two-Ton was just transferred in from the SPCA of Northeastern North Carolina along with 7 other hound mixes.  He was one of their longest residents and he was transferred to Portsmouth Humane in the hopes of finding him a forever home.

He is a fairly young pup, just a few years old. The staff at PHS are still getting to know him, but he’s been very sweet since he arrived and gets along with other dogs.

If you can’t adopt a great way to help is to foster a dog or cat. It frees up room in the shelter and lets you get to know the pet better outside of the shelter environment.

Another way to support the animals at Portsmouth Humane Society is with a fun day of golfing! The annual Arthur G. Meginley, Jr. Golf Tournament is coming up on June 15th at Bide-A-Wee Golf Course in Portsmouth.

This event is all “fore” the animals! Proceeds provide routine and emergency care for animals at PHS and fund community support programs that keep pets and their people together through times of hardship.  Register now! portsmouthhumanesociety.org/golf
