Taylor Swift Asks Fans To Extend ‘Kindness’ To Her Ex When ‘Speak Now’ Is Re-Released

Taylor Swift is gearing up for the release of “Speak Now: Taylor’s Version” on July 7th. The singer performed one of the tracks from the upcoming release for the first time in 11 years at her Minneapolis show on Saturday, June 24th.

According to Deadline, before launching into “Dear John,” Swift told the crowd, “I’m 33 years old, and I don’t care about anything that happened to me when I was 19 except the songs I wrote.” She added that her fans should not feel the need to defend her on the internet against someone they think she might have written a song about 14 billion years ago.

“Dear John” originally appeared on the album “Speak Now.” Swift’s updated version of the 2010 album will be released on July 7th.
