Gwen Stefani was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (October 19th) morning.
The pop star celebrated the honor alongside her three sons and husband Blake Shelton, who gave a touching speech about Stefani’s commitment to her children.
The country superstar said, “Standing here almost 10 years later after I first met her, I can say without question that being a mother is still the most important thing in her life, and I gotta tell you all, that’s rare in this business.”
He continued, “Today, it’s nice to see her honored for her side project, which is being one of the biggest stars in the world. In my opinion, Gwen is the perfect person to receive a star on the Walk of Fame. From music, television and movies to fashion and beauty, she has risen to the top over and over again, with her unique style that has made the world fall in love with her. Not as much as me, though.”

The former No Doubt singer shared photos from the event on Instagram and wrote, “what a dream !! thank u SO much @hwdwalkoffame + @warnerbrostv + Irving Azoff, Jimmy Iovine, and of course, @blakeshelton. who would have thought this girl from Anaheim would have her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? thank u for walking this journey with me, singing with me all these years … i love u !!!”
