Chrysler Museum’s Annual Halloween Harvest Festival Brings Art to Life [PICS]

by Stephanie Taylor

One of my favorite events in Hampton Roads is the Chrysler Museum‘s Annual Halloween Harvest Festival.  Each year, staff members choose one of their favorite art pieces in the museum and create their own costumes based on it.  Visitors receive a scavenger hunt flyer upon arrival and set out to find the original pieces of art and the corresponding living works of art.

I went this Sunday and was blown away by the creativity!  Check out some of my favorite living works of art below.

The Chrysler Museum has fifty galleries, an interactive space for families, and a one-of-a-kind glass studio. Best of all, admission is free!  Get a list of upcoming events here.
