Amazon Prime Video has recently acquired the documentary “I Am: Celine Dion,” offering an intimate look into the iconic singer’s life as she battles Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder.

The documentary, set to start streaming on Amazon Prime Video (with the exact date yet to be announced), promises to be a heartfelt chronicle of Celine Dion’s challenging journey. The Canadian songstress has been grappling with Stiff Person Syndrome, a condition affecting the brain and spinal cord, preventing her from taking the stage and performing for her devoted fans.

In a recent statement, Celine shared her thoughts on this personal and professional rollercoaster. “This last couple of years has been such a challenge for me, the journey from discovering my condition to learning how to live with and manage it, but not to let it define me,” she expressed.

“As the road to resuming my performing career continues, I have realized how much I have missed it, of being able to see my fans. During this absence, I decided I wanted to document this part of my life to help others who share this diagnosis,” she added.
