Norfolk Animal Care’s Pet Pantry is Empty; Donate Today to Help Pets in Need
Urgent need! @norfolkanimals has 1 bag of adult dog food in the community pet pantry
The shelter shared a plea with followers on Thursday saying, “We’re in need of a miracle in order to be able to attend our mobile pet pantry stop THIS Saturday (2 days away)”
More pets are finding themselves in shelters as some people are forced to make a choice between feeding their families or feeding their pets. So, Friends of Norfolk Animal Care Center created the Southside’s first Pet Pantry in 2011.Â
Now with help from the Norfolk Animal Care Centers Waggin’ Wheels mobile unit and the Norfolk Public Library, the Pet Pantry has gone mobile! On the second Saturday monthly, NACC’s Waggin’ Wheels will bring the mobile pet pantry into our Norfolk communities to a different Norfolk Public Library anchor branch to provide free dog & cat food.
