Ahmet Ertegun Award:

This prestigious award goes to Suzanne de Passe, marking her as the first leading female executive in the music business.

Cher previously called out the Hall of Fame for excluding her, saying on the Kelly Clarkson show, ‘I wouldn’t be in it now if they gave me a million dollars … I’m never going to change my mind. They can just go you-know-what themselves.’
