Ed Sheeran Announces 10th Anniversary Edition of His Second Album, “X”

Ed Sheeran is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his album, X, with a new edition and a one-night show in New York.

The singer shared the news on social media on May 1st saying, “10th anniversary of Multiply this year, which feels wild but also a lot has happened in that 10 years. This album was made from 2011 – 2014, and spanned my whole personal life through that time, which was a mad time. Going from playing pubs and clubs to selling arenas in those years, falling in and out of love, travelling all round the world, working with some of the best producers in the world, it was a real rollercoaster, and it’s been amazing to revisit all the memories.”

The expanded version will hit stores on June 21st, exactly 10 years to the date it was first released in 2014.  In addition to the new album and merchandise, Sheeran will play a one-night-only show in New York at Barclays Center on May 22nd.

The anniversary edition features hits like “Thinking Out Loud” and “Photograph” and will include nine bonus tracks in addition to the album’s original 12 tracks, including “I See Fire” from The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and “All of the Stars” from The Fault in Our Stars.
