Jennifer Lopez’s much-anticipated summer tour, “This Is Me… Live,” has been canceled. On Friday, May 31, Live Nation shared the news that Lopez is “taking time off to be with her children, family, and close friends.”
“I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary,” Lopez, 54, wrote on her OntheJLo website. Her words reflected the gravity of the decision and her deep connection with her fans.
Lopez continued, “I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”
The tour was set to begin in June. Fans who had already purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will automatically receive refunds.
