Selena Gomez Launches Horchata Oreo in Sweet New Collaboration
Oreo is turning up the flavor—and the star power. After a recent collab with Post Malone, the iconic cookie brand is teaming up with Selena Gomez for a brand-new, limited-edition treat: the Horchata Oreo.
Inspired by the beloved Mexican drink, horchata—a creamy blend of milk, cinnamon, and rice—the new cookie features a chocolate-cinnamon base with two layers of creme. One layer is chocolate-cinnamon flavored, while the other is a sweetened condensed milk creme topped with cinnamon sugar. Basically, it’s dessert on dessert.
Each cookie comes with one of six unique embossings, including Selena’s signature, a pair of headphones, a heart-shaped vinyl record, and the word “Selenators,” honoring her dedicated fan base.
Selena shared the personal inspiration behind the flavor, saying, “Growing up, horchata was one of those comforting things for me. Some of my favorite childhood memories involve drinking horchata with my family… And trust me, it tastes even better dipped in milk.”
Selena’s fiancé, Benny Blanco, also played a role in the flavor testing—and the sweet news doesn’t stop there. Oreo has pledged a donation to Selena’s Rare Impact Fund, her nonprofit that supports youth mental health.
The cookies will be available for pre-sale on June 2nd, and will start hitting shelves on June 9th. (People)
