Found Alone at Taco Bell, Cheesy Gordita Crunch Is Now Searching for Family

This week’s Shelter Pet Saturday spotlight goes to the one and only Cheesy Gordita Crunch—a 4-year-old bulldog mix with a name (and personality) you won’t forget.

Cheesy was found as a stray hanging out near a Taco Bell (because where else would a guy named Cheesy Gordita Crunch be?), and he’s been winning hearts ever since arriving at Chesapeake Animal Services.

This goofy, lovable pup is:

  • Great on a leash

  • Social with people and other dogs

  • Gentle with kids

  • And he’s got a chill, sweet demeanor that makes him a perfect helper dog for treating others at the shelter.

He loves splashing in the pool, tossing around toys, and soaking up every bit of attention he can get.

Thanks to a generous Guardian Angel, Cheesy’s cherry eye surgery is already covered! Not quite ready to adopt? Cheesy is part of the Snout & About program, which means you can take him out on an adventure every Saturday (weather permitting). Just swing by between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. and check him out for the day.

Cheesy is ready for his next chapter—and maybe a few tacos along the way. 🌮💛 Come meet him today!
