Coastal Virginia Magazine presents the ultimate showdown at the annual CoVa Battle of the Burgers, taking place on June 8, 2024. We are excited to announce that the event will be held at Chesapeake City Park, which is a brand new spot for this tasty event.

Guests can sample burger sliders from local restaurants, wash ’em down with refreshing local brews, enjoy live music, shop from a variety of specialty vendors and more. Attendees, along with special guest judges, will vote on their favorite sliders and beer. Awards will be presented for the People’s Choice Best Burger (Food Truck), People’s Choice Best Burger (Brick and Mortar), Judges’ Choice Best Burger Overall and People’s Choice Best Brewery.

The event begins at 1:00 p.m. and will end at 5:00 p.m. General Admission tickets are $45 online and include entry, 10 burger tasting cards and a 1-year subscription to Coastal Virginia Magazine. VIP/Early Access Passes are available online only for $65 and include a 1-hour early entry at noon, 10 tasting cards, 2 beer tickets and a 1-year subscription to Coastal Virginia Magazine. Military Discount Tickets will be available at the door only for $40 and will include everything within a General Admission ticket. You must have your military ID present and be either an active-duty service member or veteran and may purchase a max of two tickets per military ID.

Beer tickets will be available for purchase inside of the event at $6 for 1 beer or $20 for 4 beers. All attendees must be 21 years of age or older. IDs will be checked upon entry.
